🎄FESTIVE OPENING TIMES and EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS🎄
We are giving our team a well earned rest this year!
⭐Over the festive season, our office opening times are:
Xmas Eve : 9.30am - 3pm
25th December : Closed
26th December : Closed
27th December : Closed
28th December : Closed
29th December : Closed
30th December : 9.30am - 5pm
New Years Eve : 9.30am - 4pm
New years Day : Closed
2nd January : 9.30am -5pm
If you are a tenant and have an emergency please contact out of hours telephone number ☎️07931 722728 - This is checked periodically and someone will respond to you as soon as possible, We class an emergency as:
♨️ No heating or hot water
🌊 Severe leaks
🚽 Toilet blocked
🚪 Broken windows, external doors or door locks
We ask you leave a voicemail or send a text message with your name, address, number and details of your emergency, if you do not leave this information there is a chance you will not get a call back.
We ask before contacting the emergency line you check the following:
🔥 No Heating
1. If you have prepayment meters please ensure the gas and electric both have credit
2. Check pressure, this should be between 1 – 1.5 bar, you may need to top the pressure if this is below this marker. If you are unsure on how to do this we advise you google the instruction manual there are also helpful videos on you tube.
3. Radiators not heating all the way up or cold spots - bleed your radiators by releasing the air from the radiator.
4. If very cold weather your condensate pipe may be frozen, try pouring hot water across the whole pipe to unfreeze the possible blockage. A frozen pipe is at risk or bursting please check after it thaws.
5. Put towels/bowls under any leaks if possible to avoid any further damage
⚡No power supply
1. If you have a prepayment meter please ensure the electric has credit
2. Check fuse board for any tripped appliances or electrical items, unplug all electric appliances before turning the trip switch back on then one by one start to turn on the switch for each appliance to rule out what appliance or socket is causing the fault.
3. Check with neighbours or supplier to check no known faults in the area. If the power is down call 105 National Grid for any updates
🔥 Gas Leak: -
1. Turn the gas supply off at the meter and open all windows and doors
2. Call Cadent on 0800 111 999
💡 Do not turn any power or light switches on or off.
🔥 DON’T light any sort of flame within the property.
🚨 Carbon monoxide alert:
1. Turn off all appliances, open windows & doors
🚒 Fire:
1. Call 999
💧 No water supply:
1. If there is no running water at all check with United Utilities 0345 672 2888 to check if there are any known issues in the area or go to: https://www.unitedutilities.com/emergencies/
🌊 Leaks:
1. If this is a small leak please use a bucket or towel to collect the water
2. If a large leak turn water off at mains, run the taps to drain any water from the pipes, to avoid further damage please try and use buckets and towels, take care if near electrics/electrical fittings.
