And he’s done it! Jason has officially completed his charity ride from Nantes to Bilbao, an incredible 511 miles across France and Spain. 🚴

Rain, wind, long climbs, coastal paths and some very sore legs…but he’s crossed the finish line. 🎉

So far, over £1,000 has been raised for St Catherine’s Hospice, a fantastic achievement for a very worthwhile local charity that supports families when they need it most. 💝

A huge well done to Jason and the whole team who took on this challenge. 💪

Latest update from Jason, who's cycling 511 miles in 7 days for charity. 🚴

Another 90 miles tackled, unfortunately in pouring rain and strong winds that the team were completely unprepared for...but if there’s one thing removals teaches you, it’s improvisation! When the weather turned, so did the creativity, cue some very stylish “designer” weather tops kindly donated by a local patisserie. Not exactly pro cycling kit, but needs must. 🤣

Thankfully, by the time they reached their destination the skies cleared, allowing for a well-earned pint while watching the surfers. An incredible effort so far, all in support of St Catherine’s Hospice. The miles may be tough, but the cause makes it worth it. 💪

Jason and the team have battled through rain, strong winds and some serious terrain over the last two days. 🚴🏽

Suspension bridges, road bridges, sand dunes, forest tracks, coastal paths and long stretches of open road, it’s been anything but easy.

Today is Day 4, and it’s the longest yet at 94 miles. 😳

We’ve been thinking of him as he takes on the biggest stretch of the ride so far. The legs will be feeling it, but the determination is there. 💪

All of this is in support of St Catherine’s Hospice and the incredible work they do for local families.

Day 1 complete 🚴‍♂️ We’ve heard from Jason and we’re pleased to say the first leg of his charity ride is done!

A solid day in the saddle, good miles covered and spirits high across the team. The legs are feeling it, but that’s all part of the challenge. 💪

He’s riding to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice, supporting the incredible work they do for local families. Every mile pedalled is for a very worthwhile cause. 🥰

And so it begins! Today, our owner Jason swaps the removals truck for a bike! 🚲

He’s starting his 512 mile ride over 7 days from Nantes to Bilbao to raise money for , a charity that provides incredible care and support to local families when they need it most.

It’s a serious challenge. 512 miles across two countries is no small undertaking, but it’s for a cause that makes a real difference in our community. St Catherine’s Hospice supports people with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones, offering specialist care, comfort and dignity at the most difficult times. 💝

The team earned its steps with this move! 🥾

The top bedroom was a long way from the lorry…and there were plenty of them. Every carry meant stairs, distance and a bit of graft, which the video captures perfectly! 👌

This was a pub in Gatwick that sadly closed its doors, and we helped the landlord move back home to Rotherham. 📦

Moves aren’t always straightforward. Sometimes it’s distance. Sometimes it’s access. Sometimes it’s tight turns and countless steps…

Whatever the challenge, we get on with it. If you’ve got a move coming up, near or far, we’re ready. 💪

We’re really proud to share that Sue was asked to chair the AGM of the Removers Benevolent Association (RBA) at this weekend’s BAR Conference in Birmingham. 🤩

The RBA is the only dedicated charity for the removals and storage industry, supporting people in our sector who find themselves in need, including former workers and their families. 📦

As one of just four trustees, Sue plays an important role in guiding the charity’s work, a great example of giving back to the community that supports us all. 🤝

“Extremely professional, friendly to our children and ridiculously efficient.” 😍

That’s how this client described Jamie, Nyle, Ollie, Tommy and Nyse after their recent move:

“I’m over 40 and decided I needed some help with moving myself and the family. Jamie, Nyle, Ollie, Tommy and Nyse were extremely professional, friendly to our children and ridiculously efficient. The house was packaged the day before, they then took down beds and packaged last bits before moving everything in in lightning speed after we completed. There was a funeral on the road that day where we had lived and they made an extra effort to be out the way for it (just a nice group). I was 50/50 on spending the extra for boxing but I am so glad we did. Made everything so much easier and although we were tired the following few days we weren’t shattered. It could happen but no breakages and everything was put where you would expect. Thank you all for your hard work!”

Move day is about more than getting from A to B. It’s about organisation, care, respect and taking pressure off families at what can be a stressful time. We’re especially pleased to hear the packing service made such a difference. It really can transform the whole experience.
