A spectacular partial solar eclipse is coming to the UK, with more than 90% of the Sun expected to be covered from Yorkshire.

Even more remarkable... the next eclipse of this magnitude visible from the UK won't be until 2090, making this a truly once-in-a-generation event! 🌘

⏰ Approximate timings:
🌒 Begins: Around 6:00pm
🌑 Maximum eclipse: Around 7:10pm
🌔 Ends: Shortly after 8:00pm

As the Sun will be low in the western sky, you'll need a clear view of the horizon.

What’s on in Filey?
Next weekend it’s the food festival. Always one of our favourites and plenty for all the family.

Find your favourite vendor or discover a new taste with our festival map.

We've got over 80 stalls with food from around the world.

Join us at the Evron Centre and Crescent Gardens from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 8 August and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 9 August.

Our outdoor space is so vital when inside we can sleep 12.
Last week I counted 15 chairs outside, plus the love seat, so I decided to buy another 2. 🤦‍♀️🙄😂

This time I went for a bit more of a chill out, recliner , store your phone and drink organiser vibe.

Hopefully our guests this weekend will be making full use of everything the house has to offer…. Inside and Out.

Ok, so I came across this post on one of my Filey Facebook groups.
I love a caravan. In fact , it was how our family first visited Filey many years ago.
But … £800 for 4 nights, which might sleep 6 but it ain’t gonna do that comfortably and you’re literally gonna be ready to kill each other after 2 hrs. That’s a lot of money … for not a right lot of space 🤯 oh and then add your extras to have your bed made up 😱
