It’s wrap! Summer’s out! We have loved being in Filey and now we are back home and missing the sea, the views and the girls are saying that they didn’t have enough beach days! Maybe we will sneak a beach day in September if we get a heat wave. Back to school tomorrow 💕

Our guests are leaving today, they’ve had such a wonderful week that they have booked again for next year and want to extend their stay once I release these dates.

The family arriving today are here for their fourth year running, their grandchild was in utero the first time he visited and has been brought up coming for his holidays! How lucky? This is their third visit this year.

Repeat business means everything to me. It means my hard work has paid off and is being noticed by my guests. If you are reading this as a holiday home owner (I know plenty follow me) and you don’t get repeat business you need to evaluate your offering.

I’m sharing a few of my recent reviews, nearly all my guests are super grateful for being able to stay in my wonderful beach house. These reviews speak for themselves don’t they?

What was I saying about cancellations just half an hour ago? Unfortunately the guest coming tomorrow for a week had a heart attack yesterday and is unable to make it. 😢💔

**Trigger warning re bereavement**

When I started this business I had no idea that I would be immersing into the world of illness and bereavement. We’ve had a number of people staying who have been unwell, a number of people who have booked it and not made it and a number of my guests are unfortunately not here anymore. One gentleman called Keith had his oncology appointment and went straight from Essex to Filey Beach House. His favourite place was Filey and there is nowhere that captures the stunning five mile bay quite like Filey Beach House.

It’s a privilege to be able to offer something so special for families to capture those priceless moments with loved ones. Memories to cherish forever ❤️

After watching Filey Lifeboat do their training last night I was lucky enough to have had a quick chat as they came out of the water.

I was fascinated by their waterproof suits 😳😉

Who knew we had such a good looking Lifeboat crew here in Filey? 😳 Please share and ❤️ this post to give these guys the appreciation they deserve.
