Busy few days at the cottage, getting it ready for the autumn. As you can see, Lucky is exhausted on the new rug. Just a quick post to say thank you to our lovely guests that trusted us with their holiday over summer, and to our fantastic letting agent Anchor Bay Holidays during the peak season.

You will be pleased to hear that Yorkshire has no rules with regards to the order of jam and cream. Grosmont is an hour’s drive from Arthur’s Retreat, with some stunning views from the coastal road.

Well worth a visit, only a 16 minute drive from Arthur’s Retreat.
Stunning chalk cliffs and amazing wildlife. At this time of year you can see kittiwakes, gannets and parents feeding their growing chicks. It is also dog friendly around the reserve and in the visitor centre. Nice to grab a coffee from the cafe and have a walk round.
