Site visit update 🛠️📡

Starlink installation underway at Castaways, Filey… but as always, nothing gets signed off without a full inspection from Head of Health & Safety, Charlie 🐾

✔️ Perimeter secured
✔️ Engineer under supervision
✔️ Snacks not yet provided (major non-compliance)

Overall verdict: Work acceptable… but standards could be higher. Will continue to monitor closely from the balcony.

‼Important Announcement‼

Just a polite reminder that our caravan is not to be used for charging electric vehicles at all, even for a short time, this is strictly forbidden 🚫

This isn’t just a rule — it’s for safety and protection:

⚠️ Electrical Overload:

Caravan hook-ups are typically limited to 10–16 amps. Charging a car uses most (or all) of this supply, and using other appliances at the same time can trip systems or overheat sockets.

🔥 Fire Risk:

Sustained high power use over several hours can put serious strain on wiring, especially in older caravans, increasing the risk of fire.

🔌 Damage to the Caravan:

Charging vehicles through standard sockets can damage internal wiring or burn out sockets.

📄 Insurance Issues:

Most sites (including ours) strictly prohibit EV charging from caravans. Doing so may invalidate both your insurance and ours.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in keeping everyone safe.

She's Only 12wks Old And Weighs In At A Colossal Weight Of Just 2.7kgs (slightly more than a bag of sugar) 🤭

We've Had To 'Puppy Proof' The Decking, As She Was Like 'Harry Houdini' Escaping Through The Gate Posts 😂🙈

It's Only A Temporary Solution Until She Grows A Bit More And Certainly Doesn't Impede Your Views Of Filey Bay ☺️
