We’re definitely seeing more dogs back on the beach now the weather’s picking up.

It’s one of the best parts of staying here. Long walks, plenty of space, and a very happy dog by the end of the day.

Back at the cottage, it’s easy. Space to settle, somewhere to dry off, and a comfortable spot to rest.

It feels like a proper break for them as well.

We always find that summer creeps up faster than you expect.

One minute it’s coats and boots, the next you’re thinking about beach days, lighter evenings and time off together.

Shell Cottage really comes into its own in the summer. Doors open, people coming and going, meals outside, and the beach just a short walk away.
