We stayed at the Grange, specifically the Pheasantry Cottage, for 4 nights with our 2 Labradors. We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage is well presented and welcoming. Despite some areas needing a slight upgrade and certain items needing replacement (pans, carpets, sofas) it was very homely and certainly didn’t disappoint our stay. We understand that it is a dog friendly cottage so wear and tear is to be expected.
The cottage is a short walk to the beach which the dogs and my toddler loved! A short distance to some lovely pubs with great food. We couldn’t recommend this cottage enough. We will definitely be back again 😊 thank you for a lovely stay!

One of our favourite family traditions at this time of year starts with a trip to the beach.

Wrap up warm, head down to the coast, enjoy a walk along the shore or across the cliff tops, and take in the fresh sea air. Then, return to The Grange for a hot chocolate and a chance to warm up.

As the days become cooler, there’s something especially comforting about coming back after an autumn adventure and settling in with a favourite mug in hand.

Simple pleasures are often the best ones.

Some of the best memories are made around a table. Christmas dinner. Birthday celebrations. Long conversations that carry on long after the plates have been cleared. The Farmhouse was made for moments like these, with generous dining space designed to bring people together comfortably.

We absolutely loved this property. Amazing location, we stayed 4 nights and didnt scratch the surface of places to see. Perfect house.

One of the pleasures of staying here is enjoying the fantastic seafood on our doorstep. Pick up fresh local shellfish from East Coast Shellfish, enjoy seafood overlooking the beach at The Boathouse at North Landing, or settle into The Ship Inn for a relaxed meal after a day exploring the coast.

It’s easy to put off a break until next year. But sometimes a weekend away this autumn is exactly what’s needed. Fresh air, good company and time to recharge could be much closer than you think.

September brings a gentler pace to The Grange. The coast is quieter, the evenings are cooler and there’s still plenty of time to enjoy days outdoors before autumn fully arrives.

What a brilliant second summer for our pop-up campsite. We’ve had loads of happy campers staying with us. It was a real team effort to pull it together and we negotiated some challenges along the way. We improved our signage, facilities and daily checks. The result was evident in so many reviews. Thank you to everyone who was part of making it happen and to the campers who put their trust in us.
As we tidy everything away today we’re thinking about how to make our 2027 camping season even better than 2026 was.
