Hi folks,

Sorry for being so absent of late, been busy as always here at AJP.

A lot of things have been ongoing behind the scenes with setting up a new business address and of course cracking on with your home transformations.
We would like to thank all of our customers, old and new for your continued patience and loyalty as all this has been going on.

The diary is really starting to fill up now and will now be taking bookings to get started on outsides within the next few months, we only have a limited availability for outside work so please get in touch quickly to get booked in whilst there is space to do so.

Hi folks,

Another quick before and after video and a few highlight photos. This was a massive job. Tapes throughout the hallway and livingroom was applied everywhere. Two full skims to all ceilings and walls. Woodwork all painted fresh with Dulux heritage eggshell. Ceilings were painted in Dulux super Matt. And the walls finished in Dulux heritage velvet Matt to guarantee a high quality and durable finish throughout.

The diary for this year is now completely closed. So please feel free to get in touch and we can get you booked in for next year. The beginning of next year is almost fully booked but we will try our best to get to you as soon as possible.

Hi folks,

Sorry we have been so absent from the page for a while. Have had the busiest year yet at AJP thanks to you wonderful people keeping us going.

Yet again I'm looking for photos for some proof that we have been busy and yet again I have forgotten most of the before and afters 🤣🤦

The first job in the slide was a fun one. After a good wash down, scraped and sanded she was ready to be skimmed with toupret exterior concrete filler. And painted in calm neutral colours from the Dulux weathersheild range.

The second was a lovely house outside of Inverness. The customer just wanted a freshen up of the walls and ceilings and to paint the wooden linings throughout the house to give them a fresh, more modern look. It was a fair transformation throughout, giving the wooden beams and cream walls a new lease of life with a more modern colour and totally new look. The wardrobe also got a make over fitting it in more nicely with the updated look.

Yet again, thank you to everyone who has kept us so busy. We have a few odd weeks left this year for you to squeeze in before Christmas and we have also opened up our 2026 diary for anyone who would like to get in early before the rush of next year.

Hi folks,

Been off our feet these past couple weeks. Thank you to all our lovely customers for keeping us so busy and on the top of our game by providing the caffeine needed to soldier through!

The first room was completely stripped back and skimmed where needed to remove all the worst defects.
Lining paper was then applied to make the walls look brand new.
Dulux supermatt was used for the ceiling. Dulux vinyl matt for the walls and heritage eggshell for the woodwork. And a fresh coat on the radiator to finish off the room.

The second rooms ceiling was in a bad way. All of the artex was cracked and threatening to fall down.
After scraping the ceiling to remove it all, sand it all down with a full dustless setup and apply a coat of zinsser gardz she was good to be skimmed.
We applied tapes where needed and skimmed the rest out wide to cover all the remaining rough plaster.
Ceiling was then coated with a coat of contract Matt from armstead and finished with x2 coats of Dulux supermatt emulsion to leave the customer with a perfectly flat ceiling.

Hi folks,

Hope you have all been enjoying the nicer weather as we have here at AJP.

We are working our way through the list of outsides and thought I would share the photos to a big one we completed a few weeks ago.

All masonry was coated with Dulux weather shield, including the brown lower edge of the house.
All soffits, facia and downpipes were painted with Dulux opaque for a long lasting Matt finish.

Hi folks,

Another huge transformation for a customer a few weeks back needing a hallway and bedroom brought back to life.
After a lot of skimming in the hallway to smooth off the walls and get rid of the artex ceiling, applying steel tapes to all rounded edges, even more dust from sanding (that's using a dustless setup) we managed to bring the customers idea to life.

The bedrooms ceiling was skimmed and lining paper applied to the walls.

All woodwork was coated in Dulux satinwood and the walls were painting in Dulux heritage giving it the perfect Matt finish throughout.
