Maintenance Manager

Foxton Village Hall Trustees are seeking an experienced, reliable and friendly person to join the team on a part time basis to cover the following key tasks:

▪ Supervising maintenance contracts including plumbing and electrical
▪ Record keeping for alarm testing and meter readings
▪ Carrying out minor repairs when possible
▪ Key holder for routine access issues

The role averages 8 hours per week depending on circumstances and a competitive hourly rate is offered plus holiday pay. If you are interested please contact:

UPDATE: these have now been taken and are off to good new homes.

The Village Hall is updating the furniture in the lounge, and will be replacing the chairs in the coming weeks.

Would anybody in the community be able to make use of these 18 chairs (6x armed, 12x non armed)? Collection required.

The trustees of Foxton Village Hall are pleased to announce a couple of important changes to how users will book and access the Village Hall from 1st January 2024.

We have a new, online booking management system for the Village Hall. All booking requests can now be made directly via our website - simply click on Hire to view the live Calendar of Events, select the date you want and click the + icon to go to the booking request.

We have also installed a secure key safe beside the entry door to the Village Hall and the Pavilion, which will allow customers to collect and return the key from there. (An access code and detailed instructions will be provided ahead of the booking date.)

We are really excited about these changes, and hope they will make hiring and using the village hall easier for everyone.

Our village is lucky to have so many different groups which hold clubs and events in the village hall for the community. We encourage you to take a look at the website and calendar... You never know, you might just find your new favourite activity or hobby to take part in!
