Little Chequers is a charming holiday cottage situated in the middle of the quiet Suffolk village of Friston on the doorstep of the very popular seaside town of Aldeburgh. The cottage has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated and also has private parking and a lovely garden for relaxing. Friston is a small tranquil village with an ancient church, windmill and village green. Ideally located, a few minutes drive in every direction are some beautiful and interesting places to visit, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings are all just a few minutes drive away. Southwold is within a 25 minute drive as is Woodbridge, Rendlesham Forest,Orford, Dunwich Heath and Minsmere bird reserve

While you’re visiting Suffolk, we’d definitely recommend going on a goat walk with Louise at Giddy about Goats in Peasonhall🐐 We had a fab time — the goats were such characters and made the experience so much fun. Louise was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome.

It’s a fun, unique experience and a lovely way to spend a morning. Definitely one to add to your Suffolk itinerary! 🌿🐐
