We had a quieter session for Dress a Girl Around the World today. It was still a great session though and two dresses completed, shorts almost ready to go and headbands looking gorgeous.
Magnum ice creams all round too 😋

Buttons & Biscuits have a table at the Destash Sale in Stanhope Community Centre on Saturday.
Please come along and support them whilst grabbing yourself a bargain 😊

Buttons & Biscuits Sewing Club have helped to raise £130 for The Stanhope Youth Group.

The lovely Heidi Maddison asked me to decorate her shop window with some of the dresses I’ve been making, along with the fabulous ladies who are as passionate as I am about the charity Dress a Girl Around the World - UK.

A big thank you to Lee Nichols for the fabulous designing and creating of our sign 🤩

Next session is on Sunday 17 May, 11am at The Weardale Sewing Rooms in Frosterley for anyone who wants to join us.

🌟 A Huge Thank You from all the volunteers, children and parents! 🌟

We are absolutely blown away by the kindness, encouragement, and support we’ve received throughout the Members’ Choice Award at Lakes & Dales Co‑op. Every single vote, share, and message of support has meant the world to us.

Buttons & Biscuits began as a small idea with a big heart—to give children a creative, welcoming space to learn new skills, build confidence, and discover the joy of making. Seeing our community rally behind that mission has been truly inspiring.
