Launching in early 2015, Gwyllt Cottages are located in Llangaffo, in beautiful Anglesey, North Wales.

Gwyllt cottages are self catering. We will offer guests and their dogs a warm welcome to a uniquely secluded style of holiday accommodation. The cottages have recently been updated and were once agricultural buildings. The owners, Jane, Dennis, Sian & Giles fell in love with the place for its beautiful stone buildings, enchanted copse, magnificent views of Snowdonia, it's tranquillity and charm. Every cottage has been designed for comfort and style by the owners. Each boasts a lounge area with Charnwood log burning stove. All cottages benefit from their own terraced garden, screened for privacy.

One of the things we love most about life at Gwyllt Cottages is having this beautiful coastline on our doorstep.

Traeth Llanddwyn, with its wide sandy beaches, dunes, pine trees and ever-changing skies, is just a short drive from the cottages.

There’s something rather special about walking through the trees and suddenly catching that first glimpse of the sea…

Long beach walks with the dogs.
Sea air and sandy feet.
Quiet mornings when the beach is almost empty.
And those beautiful skies that make you stop and look. 💕

There are some views that never quite lose their magic.

Looking out across the fields towards the mountains of Eryri, with the changing skies, the old stone walls and the quiet of the countryside all around us.

It’s one of the things we love most about Gwyllt Cottages, the feeling of space, peace and being surrounded by the landscape.

A morning coffee here.
A slow afternoon in the garden.
A walk through the fields as the light changes.
And then back to a cosy cottage after a day exploring Anglesey.

We feel very lucky to share this little corner of Ynys Môn with our guests.

A beautiful sunny day here at Gwyllt Cottages

The garden is looking lovely, the skies are blue and the views across towards Eryri are rather special today.

We’re getting everything ready and looking forward to welcoming our guests for the weekend. We hope they have a wonderful stay, with plenty of sunshine, fresh air and time to enjoy this beautiful corner of Anglesey.

Looking across from Traeth Llanddwyn towards the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula, it’s easy to see why so many people fall in love with this corner of North Wales.

Just a short drive from Gwyllt Cottages, it’s the perfect place for a morning stroll, an afternoon swim or simply to pause and take in the ever-changing skies and sea.

Just a short drive from Gwyllt Cottages, this beautiful beach never fails to take our breath away. Every visit is different, with changing skies, shifting light and endless views across the sea.

Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful evening stroll, a paddle in the sea or simply taking a moment to soak it all in, it’s one of our favourite places on Anglesey.
