We put this flat up for sale a week before lockdown hit. Not the best time to sell but like everyone else, we had know idea what was coming our way. With that it mind, it’s been amazing that as soon as the estate agents opened on a Monday this week we had 5 viewers and an offer. We were delighted to accept the offer and took a trip down today to make sure everything is as it should be for the new owners. The best bit though, is getting to visit one of the many amazing beaches Ayrshire has 🏖🏖🏖☀️☀️☀️🍦🍦🍦 Now onto the next one. I wonder what we’ll buy next ... 🤔

On this Mother’s Day, I think all us mums should use it as an opportunity to spread a message of love and protection. We are all children of someone and today I’m protecting my own and other people’s loved ones by staying indoors. Since finishing school on Wednesday my kids have been at home and so have we. To protect my own mum I haven’t seen her since Tuesday. The only gift I want this year is to keep those close to me healthy and alive and I’m sure your the same so let’s all stay indoors and give the gift of life. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one will know that family is everything so let’s do what we mums do best. Let’s get bossy and shield and protect everyone from this killer virus 🥰🥰🥰

Happy 1st birthday to Glasgow Property Support!

Proud that our property networking group has gone from strength to strength over the last year and that we have a strong crew who not only support each other but recognise each other’s successes and lift each other up.

Running a business is exciting and scary but it’s tough too. Having people around you who ‘get it’ is invaluable and makes the hard stuff so much easier.

Last night we celebrated the groups 1st birthday but more importantly we recognised and celebrated how far we’ve all come over the last year.

It’s a pleasure being a part of everyone’s property journey and I can’t wait to see what we will have achieved by this time next year!

This is me and at our latest Glasgow Property Support meet up on Monday. It may look like nobody came along but in actual fact, we are just hopeless at remembering to take photos of the meeting when it’s in full swing and everyone is still there! 😂

Almost a year in, we are delighted at how well received our meet ups are. Monday night was another great session. Looking over , we worked in groups to discuss what people who invest in our property businesses want to know before handing over their hard earned cash, and how getting this information right is critical in securing .

Often when you work on a document like this you get so immersed in the subject matter that you can’t see the wood for the trees, so a fresh pair of eyes to tell it you it from their perspective is really useful.

I know it’s really helped me and I’ll be making some tweaks and improvements.

Throw back to this time last week when I was in Beefa with my besties! Ibiza, you did not disappoint. What an epic few days we had. Celebrating our 40th birthday together on the white island was amazing and has left us with the so many laughs and memories. Turning 40’s not so bad after all. Muchos gracias Ibiza! 😃

Living my best life, one dirty carpet at a time! 😀

We decided to clean the carpets to freshen the place up a bit before we move in, and I cannot believe the dirt that came out of them. Here’s hoping got rid of the wet dog smell too 🙏🤢 Suppose I should start following some cleaning pages for some tips 🤔😴😴😴

Seriously though, when would red carpet ever be in fashion? What wallpapers/paint/ furniture goes with a red carpet? Suppose I better work that one out as we will be living with it for a while 🤢😭😭😭

Holiday? What holiday? It’s safe to say we’re straight back into it. Except this time we’re trying to get our own house into some kind of habitable state so we can move in. Thankfully, the kids are pretty excited about their new pad and were happy to help today 😅

So today after 2 very long months of delays we got the keys to our new house. We weren’t sure this was ever going to happen as there were a few stumbling blocks along the way but I’ll save that story for another day. For now, we’re enjoying coming home from an amazing holiday and collecting the keys to our new home. It’s been a long time coming and we’re just glad we have somewhere to live now. Let the renovations begin! 😀
