RENFREW CHAMBERS OWNERS AGM

Dear owners,

This is to advise you that our annual general meeting will take place on Wednesday 28th February at 19:00 sharp in the Holiday Inn 161 West Nile Street Glasgow The Agenda is shown below

There are a number of very significant matters to present and discuss at this years meeting, several of which could have significant cost and amenity implications for all owners.
As such your Committee would strongly request that you attend or if you are unable to please contact me - [email protected] - confirming your proxy to allow me to represent your views at the meeting.

As many of you will know there is now a proposed new development on the site immediately across the road from Renfrew Chambers. The proposed development is a four star hotel and student accommodation. The proposed height of the development is higher than Renfrew Chambers and as such there will be sightline issues together with potential noise and parking considerations.
The Committee have arranged for the Developers to make a presentation at the AGM and to take questions thereafter.

You will also be aware that following the Grenfell fire Disaster ,many buildings were inspected to see what type of cladding they have. There is a suggestion that the 6th and 7th floor of Renfrew Chambers may be clad in similar material and of course if this were the case there could be significant costs involved. H&P will present their findings to date and we will discuss what steps if any are required to attend to this issue.

H&P will also update the meeting on the recent Bin Store project together with other ongoing maintenance issues and the costs involved.

H & P will also make a presentation to owners setting out their proposals for the future managent of Renfrew Chambers and any cost implications.

Several owners have expressed concerns at the standard of property management provided by H&P over the last few years and as such the AGM will also have a presentation by Donald Ross Factors as to how they would factor the property on our behalf. The presentation will also have time for a question and answer session

All of the above are highly important matters to ensure that we maintain Renfrew Chambers as a high quality residential location in Glasgow City Center which remains attractive to the rental market whilst providing good capital growth for all owners.

Your committee strongly appeal to you to attend this important meeting.

Could you please email me [email protected] to confirm whether you will manage to attend

Kind Regards
Eric Armstrong
For and behalf of RCOA
