And as someone who has spent much of my life on one, I couldn’t resist choosing this Dolly Parton classic for today’s transformation.

A little tribute to a true legend, while showcasing what a difference the right bedroom styling can make.
This ex-rental property in Falkirk had good bones, but it needed to feel like a home, not a rental.
With the right furniture, soft furnishings, colour and styling, these bedrooms were transformed into warm, inviting spaces that buyers can connect with.

Yesterday in Falkirk, we created a warm, welcoming space with carefully chosen furniture, thoughtful styling and the client’s existing curtains.

The right presentation helps buyers see a property’s potential and imagine themselves living there.

With just 6 days’ notice, we staged this beautifully refurbished ex-rental property for sale. This is the master bedroom, (part of a 4-bed) and our team had to work fast to get everything in place before the estate agent’s valuation and photography scheduled for the next day, which our client already had booked and couldn’t move.

Working with the existing short dark grey curtains, we created a cohesive grey and teal palette to completely lift the room.

The difference was huge, and gave our client a far stronger first impression for both the valuation and those all-important marketing photos. ✨

From Ex-Rental to Market-Ready | 4-Bed Detached, Cambuslang

This four-bedroom detached home in Cambuslang had been beautifully refurbished by one of our regular investor clients before we were brought in to prepare it for market.

The property was fresh and finished, but still needed warmth, personality and a clear sense of lifestyle to help buyers connect with it.

We used a soft neutral palette with warm caramel, natural wood and subtle teal accents, then layered in carefully chosen furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs and greenery to give each space purpose and visual appeal.

In the main lounge, we also changed the existing dark curtains for soft cream sheers to bring in more light, improve the first impression and help the room photograph beautifully.

It’s a great example of that final step professional staging adds after refurbishment, taking a property from simply finished to truly market-ready.

A Small Detail That Can Spoil a Refurb &
A little staging tip for landlords & property investors… 🏡✨

If you’re refurbishing a property to sell, don’t feel you need to dress the windows before your stager arrives.

Home stagers don’t typically provide curtains as part of a staging package, but bare windows or simple neutral blinds are generally much better than curtains that are the wrong length, colour or style for the room.

Curtains, particularly shorter or darker styles, can visually reduce the height of a room and work against an otherwise beautiful refurbishment.

In this lounge, I added soft cream sheer linen curtains as an extra for my client to help elevate the overall first impression and make those all-important marketing photographs look their best. The room instantly felt lighter, taller and more luxurious.

Sometimes, doing less before staging gives us much more to work with. 🤍
