The building has a long and fascinating history, with the main part of the present house dating back to 1648 and the wider estate’s association with the Dennistoun family reaching as far back as 1351.

Over the centuries, Camis Eskan House has played many different roles. It has been associated with prominent local families, modernised in the early 20th century by Helensburgh architect Alexander Nisbet Paterson and requisitioned during the Second World War for use as a hospital for Polish Army casualties. It was later transformed into the residential development it is today, made up of eight flats and three coach houses.

It’s been a great start to the year at 91BC.
