Part Time Staff Member Required for Age Restricted block of flats

Hours are 4 per day Monday Friday - 20 hours per week. Ideal hours are 9am -1pm but can be flexible

Role includes
Checking the welfare of Residents
Liaising with Property Management Company regarding repairs/maintenance
Supervise use of Communal Rooms
Maintain residents records
Answer emergency calls from Residents when on duty
Regular checks of health and safety equipment to the building
Arrange social activities as required

Office Management experience not necessary but demonstrable ability to create and maintain working systems and effective professional communication skills are a must.

CMG Leasehold Management is looking for a multi-site caretaker, to be based in our Gloucester office. The position available is part-time, currently 2 days a week (you choose the days).
The successful applicant will report to the Property Managers. The sites are managed blocks of flats within 1 hour travel of the office (vehicle provided).
Main responsibilities will be:
Checking and tidying refuse areas.
Undertaking general caretaking duties such as changing lamps, installing notices and checking common areas.
Ensuring general security of the sites to include checking doors and locks.
Proactively carrying out minor repairs or reporting to Property Managers for follow up
As part of the compliance to statutory duties the individual will undertake to carry out and record the function testing of such systems as emergency lighting and fire alarms.
Your role will require the use of a computer and mobile phone (provided) so previous experience of such equipment would be an advantage
You will also need to hold a full driving licence and be eligible to drive
Other caretaking duties may be applicable to the position.
We will need you to be:
Keen, motivated and reliable;
Have good customer service skills;
Have good practical maintenance skills;
Have a good understanding of services within a building (some training provided);
Have an understanding and respect for Health and Safety;
Have the ability to follow site and company policies and procedures
Caretaking experience is an advantage but not essential
