I’m Avi, the woman behind DAT.
My journey in accommodation has taken me from building and operating serviced accommodation in South Africa to managing properties in the UK, welcoming guests from different parts of the world and learning first-hand what separates a nice property from a stay that genuinely works.
Along the way, DAT Properties has achieved Airbnb Superhost status and a Booking.com Traveller Review Award — recognition I’m proud of, but the real education has come from the people we’ve accommodated.
We’ve learned what matters when you’re away from home for more than a couple of nights.
A proper kitchen. Reliable Wi-Fi. Laundry. Parking. Comfortable beds. Space to switch off.
And just as importantly — a responsive person at the other end when you need something.
Today, I’m bringing all of that experience into our next chapter: specialising in accommodation for contractors, professionals and project teams working across Grays, Thurrock and Essex.
