We are a family owned and run firm providing block and private development management services for any size of development across Essex, London, Kent and Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. We are also linked with Attwood & Co Solicitors that have been established for over 30 years. Sharing a building with a solicitors practice means we have legal assistance and advice available to us and

our clients at all times. We are also able to arrange the extension of dwindling lease terms and create Right To Manage companies at heavily discounted rates. We continue to develop our business by listening to our clients and the problems they have had with previous managing agents. Transparency is an essential part of block management and we ensure leaseholders are invited to attend general meetings for their block at least once a year where they can discuss schedules of work, budgets, where improvements can be made, etc. Not everyone wants to become too involved and this is fine too, but we believe leaseholders should be given the opportunity. Our systems and procedures allow our staff to manage your development in the most effective and efficient way. We track all reported problems from start to finish and ensure all parties involved are aware of developments. We are looking to recruit to our busy offices in Grays.
The role is for 4 days a week but we may consider 3 days. Ideally someone with some experience in arranging property maintenance and general administration, but this is not essential as we will train you.

Our offices have been severely affected by a network outage, after a car hit the Fibre cabinet in London Road in the early hours today. We have been working all day to ensure we can connect our systems via mobile networks. We apologise if we do not respond as quickly as usual and ask that you only call with urgent issues please.
BT OpenReach suggest connections will not be fully resumed until 9th April. Our sincere apologies in advance.

We are still fully operational during the Coronavirus epidemic.

Some of us are working remotely to adhere to social distancing guidelines, but we are still able to work from wherever we are due to the systems we have in place.

We ask that you please only call with emergency issues at this time and we will do our upmost to deal with these in the usual swift and professional manner.

From Tuesday 14th April we are offering a supermarket collect and delivery service to residents in our Thurrock properties that are over 70 or NHS workers and who are affected by the Coronavirus lockdown.

If you fall into the above categories please call us on 01375 898879 and we will make arrangements with you.

How it works

You place an online order to a local Thurrock supermarket for collection by car. You will pay for your shopping and let us know what time it is to be collected.
Collection must be between 9am-4pm Monday-Friday.
My staff will then collect your order and deliver to your door.
We will NOT charge you, your development or anyone for this service. It is completely free to those that genuinely need help. I will personally reimburse my staff for travelling expenses.

I would like to thank my staff for agreeing to do this in the current climate.

We all want to ‘do our bit’ to help.

Corona Virus update

We continue to operate through the current situation and are doing our best to ensure services at our developments remain uninterrupted.

We have increased sanitising at all of our developments in an attempt to help slow the spread of this dreadful virus.

We are operating with a skeleton staff in our offices, with the remaining staff working remotely. Thanks to the technologies we employ, we are able to continue responding to emails and telephone calls, even if our offices have to close for a period of time in the near future.

We do ask that you keep general calls and emails to a minimum please and only contact us with emergency issues. We manage over 1,000 properties and therefore need to focus on urgent matters only at this time.

If you are not already using our online portal service, MyBlockMan, then do drop us an email at [email protected] and we can enable this service for you immediately. This will allow you to view service charge / ground rent accounts, circulars and much more. You will automatically be notified if we publish circulars in relation to the Corona Virus.

May I take this opportunity to thank all of my team for their fantastic work in maintaining the levels of service we pride ourselves on at a difficult time for everyone.

Covid-19 update

Whilst our services will continue as best possible, we felt it prudent to write and advise some of the things we are trying to do to mitigate the spread of the Corona virus.

We have asked cleaners to attend more frequently. This is predominantly to sanitise handles, stair rails, etc more frequently. This will involve extra expense and we will potentially need to cut expenditure in other areas to facilitate this work. We are sure you will agree it is important.

Residents should do their bit. You should sanitise handles, handrails in communal areas too. We appreciate some cleaning products are difficult to purchase at this time, but all we ask is that you do whatever you can to help prevent the spread. We must all do our part. Please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly whenever you have touched rails and handles in communal areas.

We are not allowing visits to our offices at the present time. All correspondence should be carried out by telephone and email. If you require parking permits these will be posted and cannot be collected at the current time.

The situation is evolving each day and we will post updates regularly. If other residents in your development are not following this page please invite them to. We can get messages to as many as possible, as quickly as possible, using our page.
