Thinking of buying a new build? 🏡🔑

Here are a few things we’d always recommend looking out for before making the move:

1️⃣ Space between homes: look at privacy, overlooking and how crowded the development feels.

2️⃣ Quality & specification: look beyond how it photographs and check the quality of the kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, fixtures and finishes throughout.

3️⃣ Aftercare: find out who you’ll actually be dealing with once you’ve got the keys.

4️⃣ Garden direction: especially if that evening sun is important to you.

5️⃣ Storage: cupboards, utility space and somewhere for all the everyday clutter.

6️⃣ Energy efficiency: check the EPC, heating system, insulation and energy-saving features.

7️⃣ Natural light: consider window sizes and which way the rooms face.

8️⃣ Parking: is there enough space for your household and visitors?
