The objective of the Marina project is to continue economic regeneration of Greenhithe, provide a landmark development, and provide improved access to the River Thames, with opportunities for recreational boating to meet local community aspirations and to create tourism opportunities to support a diverse range of different groups and community projects with the aims of; • working to create a river
side community to which local people want to belong • working to improve quality of life by making the best possible use of the River Thames and what we have locally (the valuable assets and resources that already exist in the community) • preserving skills locally wherever possible Greenhithe Marina (Management) LLP is preparing to make a huge investment into riverside facilities for the area and this is only the first step in what we believe will be a catalyst to a community led waterfront revival.
