A fun, practical three hour session exploring how light can transform a portrait. Working in small groups, participants will photograph one another using a range of lighting setups, with a focus on creating mood, character and atmosphere rather than technical complexity.
The session also introduces a simple discussion around ethics in portraiture; considering permission, intent, and the relationship between photographer and subject, encouraging a more thoughtful approach to making images.
Selected images will be reviewed at the end, with each participant receiving three professionally printed 9×6 inch prints to take away. Suitable for DSLR and mirrorless users with a basic understanding of their camera.
