So today has been very much a garden day...I sourced another water tank and I have placed it in position, with compost, cardboard and gravel and had a really good think on everything in the garden.
I decided that, yes I have empty pots now but they are waiting for beautiful new plants...I have areas where the dogs trample and I have to really think carefully about planting.
I moved my pittasporum bannow bay to the doorstep as a feature planter.
I have pulled plants out today that do not give me joy!
Controversially, they are in the "plant hospital" awaiting some attention. They have fresh compost and a new lease of life but when you have a very small container yarden, every plant must work for its place.
Anyway, the photos do not reflect the work. There has been angle grinding, sawing, digging today. Thank you , my hero. Even let me have a go with the angle grinder. ###
