Hadrian homes commenced work on The Hawthorns in 1996 and to date have built 54 Houses and bungalows. Other house builders have built an additional 15 homes making 69 to date. Several houses have been sold off plan allowing owners to have considerable input regarding features they regard as important. The result has seen the creation of several fine properties which have gained significantly in va

lue over the years. The company have ambitious plans to extend the site and are awaiting planning approval for an additional 45 homes. The boundaries and elevations have been agreed with planners but scope exists for off-plan purchasers to make internal changes to their liking.

Hadrian Homes built their first Passive House at Carlisle in 2013. Our on going monitoring of the indoor temperatures tells us that these homes can be heated to an average temperature of 20 degC for about £120.00 per year.
