Jolly Roger's Swashbuckling' Train Ride - Thursdays 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st August!

Ahoy there!

Bring the whole family along to the Spa Valley Railway for a swashbucklin’ good time as we join Jolly Roger as he tries to find the lost treasure.

Packed full of slapstick comedy, thrills and spills - its set to be another sell-out show, departing from Tunbridge Wells West at intervals throughout the day. The performance is brought to you by the Radtastic Theatre - the team who brought you “Little Red Riding Hood’s Easter Train Ride”.

The fun begins at Tunbridge Wells West Station before boarding the train at 09:45, 12:30 or 15:10 where the loveable pirate, Jolly Roger warns us of the dastardly treasure thief, Captain Crook. Roger’s ship is wrecked and he needs a new crew - will you help? Once he’s trained up his new recruits, we will all board the steam train to go looking for treasure. Along the way, Jolly Roder will hand out activity packs and colouring pencils to all his crew.

Upon arrival at Eridge station, everybody will make their way on to the platform to seek out the lost treasure. Who will find it first - Jolly Roger and his crew or Captain Crook?

Once the treasure has been found, we will all board the train to journey back to Tunbridge Wells, Jolly Roger handing out rewards to all his crew along the way.

This week is National Nest Box week and today we’ve been busy putting up some of our new nest boxes that arrived recently to help us start the project!

Soon, we’ll be launching a new nest box adoption scheme to help us expand the number of bird nest boxes which we’re able to erect and monitor across the Groombridge Place - Enchanted Forest & Gardens estate, and in the local area whilst working with local wildlife groups!

🎄- To enable our hard working staff to travel home for Christmas the site will be closing at 3PM

🎄The Last show on Xmas Eve 'The Frosty Tales Show' will be at 2.30PM

🎄The Last Merry Messenger show will be at 1.30PM

🎄The Final Festive fun session and Gingerbread decorating will take place at 2.30 PM
