Thanks again to everyone that came to the March event! It was brilliant to see so many new faces and of course so many familiar ones too! :-)

For those that missed it James Davis gave us an enlightening talk about UPad and how to best market your rental properties online; for the widest exposure across multiple sites, the best positioning within those sites and reduce the cost of advertising and admin.

There were more interesting hot deals across a range of types and areas, and good to see more of you talking the floor!

But for me, the night was made by again meeting and connecting such motivated, open, friendly people! - and wonderful to see what you might do when that £60million windfall comes your way :-)

This month @ Surrey Property Exchange -

Cant wait for tonight. I saw Mike Frisby at the Property Magic Live weekend and his strategies on maximising cashflow with LHA and "flatlets" was totally brilliant! So much so that I'm thinking maybe I should keep it a secret... in fact, yes, dont come to Guildford tonight... really, nothing to see here! :)

The Holiday Inn in Guildford was the place to be last Monday evening as the Surrey Property Exchange staged its September event at the venue.

Buying and selling property at auction was covered by David Sandeman, the originator and owner of the eigroup, which underpins nearly all of the auction events in the UK every month. Gill Alton has built up a terrific property business in a very short time, focusing on particular parts of Nottingham for her family and investor partners, and she outlined her business rationale to everyone present.

As ever, quite a lot of business was done during network time and lots of valuable contact was made that will no doubt be followed up before the SPE event next month, which is scheduled for Monday 10 October.

If you missed the event last Monday, there is still chance to catch up to as the printed programme produced for the event is now on the website, along with photos from the evening.

David initially qualified as a barrister in 1982 and then spent the rest of the 80s in the London property market, building and modernising flats and houses. Many of the properties were acquired at auction and this gave David valuable experience in the field of property investment and development.
