In addition to working alongside our experienced bricklayers, the role will involve with working alongside multiple trades to develop an understanding of all aspects of the construction industry. This is something we think is vitally important to experience early in any tradesmen's' career.

ALF Construction are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor/Junior Quantity Surveyor.

The position will be a full time role, working from our offices in Guiseley. Initially we are offering this position on a fixed 12 month contract. This will potentially be extended to a permanent position.

ALF Construction are a main contractor working around the Yorkshire region on a range of projects including -

New build
Extensions
Refurbishments

The role will involve -

Preparing quotations and tender submissions for the work we undertake.
Monitoring ongoing projects to prepare monthly valuations and survey works in addition to contract.
Sub-contractor procurement including the preparation of tender documents and the assessment of the returns.
Material buying.
Preparation of project performance reports.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with previous experience in the domestic/residential field.

The position would be based on a 39 hour week.

The salary for this position will be negotiated with the individual candidate and based on their experience and ability.

All candidates should hold a full driving license.
