In my career, I've always felt like something was missing and I've realised that through the property journey, more often or not, that single point of contact is lost fairly early on. I often felt that once the valuation was carried out and the listing for the property was crafted, I had very little contact with my clients from that point onwards. This wasn't on purpose, simply that being in a High Street agency means that once you've done "your" bit, it's passed on to someone else and your onto the next listing. After moving to Shap in 2024 with my family and starting my degree (with a view to qualifying as a RICS chartered surveyor), I felt like it was time to do things differently in this career that I love. So I took the decision to set-up my own business, to run my own Estate Agency and provide that seamless one point of contact service to my clients, giving them the experience they deserve from start to finish. I've teamed up with The Agency UK, a network of likeminded Estate agents across the Country and local professionals to provide my customers not only my own skills and knowledge but the best talent Cumbria can offer with the backing of TAUK's national coverage and resources. What a great end to the working week!

This beautiful property in Shap went onto the market just 2 days ago - we knew it would prove popular and, sure enough, we were inundated with enquiries - some from as far afield as the USA!

After the first viewings took place yesterday - in the midst of some truly horrendous weather, I might add - today we received multiple over-asking price offers. One lucky buyer has now had the news that their offer has been accepted, and we can’t wait to get them moved.

On the market for 7 days and we have had an amazing offer accepted from a wonderful couple who are relocating.
This stunning home had been on the market with another agent for some time, and did not get the traction it truly deserved. The vendors called us after seeing what we do and we turned up with the team and our cars bursting with staging equipment, chocolate freddos and ginger beer...Of course!
Vix was so poorly on this shoot, but she still managed to get the shots that captured the soul of the home.
Roll forward one week and we have just given the buyers the news that their offer has been accepted and Margate House will be theirs in a few short weeks.
