Saturday’s AOP In-Person Deal Sourcing Day in Shrewsbury was a great one 📈

It was brilliant having a room full of like-minded people together, all focused on the same thing - finding and structuring solid property deals.

We spent the day looking at different strategies including HMOs, Rent-to-Serviced Accommodation, Buy-to-SA and BRR/Flip opportunities, and a few people even uncovered some really promising leads on the day, which is exactly what these sessions are about.

It also worked perfectly as a kick-start for our AOP Deal Sourcing Accelerator, which starts tomorrow exclusively for AOP Members. 💥

What Happens When You Get the Right People in a Room

We got together in Shrewsbury for a full day of learning, chatting, and uncovering new ways to find solid investment opportunities.

🔍 Jamie at gave us a deep dive into the tools to find the next investment
🏘️ broke down how to approach HMOs in today’s market
🎤 hosted us and shared a few wise words from his own investing journey
☕ We connected over a morning coffee and an after event beer, sharing stories, ideas and future projects

It was one of those days where everyone left with something useful.. whether it was a new strategy, a mindset shift, or a new contact.

What a day!
We brought members of the AOP community together inside one of our serviced accommodation units and spent the day learning, sharing and getting to know each other properly.

We covered everything from scaling a management business to understanding finance and company structure. We talked staging, investing, finding deals and how to structure them the right way. Then we broke off into groups and searched for live opportunities with support from the team, and we have a big list of leads now being followed up this week.

The best part was simply getting people in the same room.
Real conversations. Real learning. Real collaboration.
Some of the people who met for the first time are now planning to work together on future projects.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along to our AOP retreat this week in Hagley, it was brilliant to see you all in person.

We covered everything from serviced accommodation and management to staging, accounting, and sourcing, with plenty of you heading off for viewings and follow up calls this week. The food was amazing, the conversations were even better with plenty of new friendships made along the way.

After the success of our last retreat, we’re doing it again.
Next Thursday (6th Nov), the AOP community is heading back to a stunning countryside mansion in Hagley for another full day of learning, networking, and proper connection.

This retreat is free for all members and takes place inside a live serviced accommodation property run by and David Butmaro. You will get to experience what a high performing SA feels like from the inside while learning how to build your own.
