A message from Lime Gardens social committee…
In February we lost a very dear friend and resident. Dot Chambers.
She was the life and soul of our community and worked tirelessly for the benefit of our residents. The post below shows us us at our charity event with live music, raffle and auction where we raised £2400. A staggering amount. The money raised was split between the Critical Care unit and the Forget Me Not unit at Russell’s Hall Hospital. Here is the letter that was sent and pictures of our social committee presenting the queue to Charity coordinator from Russell’s hall.

Friday night at Limes Gardens for our Annual housing 21 party. In true Black Country 1920’s style we partied like Peaky Blinders. Faggots, whiskey, flat caps and flapper dresses. Last night the community at Lime gardens gathered for a charity night to said goodbye to one of our residents. Truly missed and forever remembered. A fantastic evening raising money in memory of Dot.
Fantastic live Music, raffle, live auction, food, fun and laughter. Just like she would have wanted. The organisation from our brilliant entrainment committee was top notch. Thank you so much for your hard work 🥂
Lime Gardens, your staff were proud last night to work for such an amazing community of people. Not sure how we’re gunna top this one. Can’t wait to tot up how much money we raised for the critical care unit at Russell’s Hall and Dementia Uk 🥂🥂🥂🥂
