Many people don’t have the time, inclination, knowledge or specialist tools required to do DIY tasks themselves, but can’t find a tradesman willing to take on smaller jobs. Many people have lists of different smaller jobs, e.g. a leaky shower; a sticking door; cracks in a wall & a broken dimmer switch. They’re then faced with the problems of firstly finding plumbers, carpenters, decorators & electricians, (none of whom are really interested in small jobs) & secondly the often considerable expense of four separate call out charges. For e.g. it can be difficult to get a plumber to reseal a leaky shower. Plumbers are usually geared up for larger jobs, like installing a complete bathroom or heating system. Also many tradesmen will only charge per full day regardless of how long the job actually takes them. That’s where a professional handyman can save your time, money & inconvenience by being able to do multiple jobs at a reasonable cost. For over 20 years Andrew Knight has repaired, improved & refurbished homes for his own family & for friends. Armed with that experience, he started Handy Knight, a business specialising mainly in the smaller jobs that larger companies simply aren't interested in. With larger jobs, you’re better off employing a specialist because they are geared up for specific tasks & are likely to be faster & cheaper – though Handy Knight is well versed in making good all the bits they might have missed!
