Monthly Free Repairs for Elderly, Disabled, and Pregnant Women in Need

I’m going to be offering one free repair each month for an elderly person, disabled person, or expectant mother who may be struggling to get certain jobs sorted around the home.

You can enter for yourself or nominate someone else who you feel could really benefit from a bit of help.

Applicable jobs include things like:
Tap replacements
Minor plumbing repairs
Door handle or lock changes
Flat-pack assembly
Curtain poles, shelves or brackets
Other similar small household repairs

The repair must be a job that can be completed within one working day.

To enter or nominate someone, send me:

At the end of each month, one winner will be picked at random and contacted directly.

I know times are hard for a lot of people, so I wanted to do something that could genuinely help someone who needs it.

Leak Fixed Fast ✅

Got called out to a leak under the sink that only happened when the washing machine was draining.

Replaced the faulty sink trap and tested it after fitting, all working properly and no more leaks.

🚰 Sink Water Pipe Replacement, Leak Repaired

Customer had multiple leaks in different areas of the pipework.

Removed the damaged section and replaced the pipe, then tested everything to make sure the leak was fully stopped.

Another small job done today, removing old mouldy shower silicone and replacing it with fresh sealant.

Old silicone had gone black with mould and was starting to fail, so it was all stripped out, cleaned properly and resealed to keep the shower watertight again.

Makes a big difference and stops water getting behind tiles and causing bigger problems later.

This one turned into a bit more than expected once we uncovered some old corroded pipework, but that’s why you fix things properly, not just make them “look” sorted.

New valves fitted, connections redone, everything tested and leak free, new taps on sink and bath, new bath panel and toilet seat.
