✨ Recent Project Completed – Harpenden ✨
I recently completed the redecoration of a large oak-frame conservatory on the outskirts of Harpenden.

Here’s what went into it:

✔️ Guttering removed for full access
✔️ Full prep — rubbed down and cleaned thoroughly
✔️ Cracks & gaps filled with Toupret exterior wood filler
✔️ Sanded & primed to a smooth, even base
✔️ Two coats of Zinsser AllCoat in Farrow & Ball – Manor House Grey for a durable, premium finish

✨ Project Spotlight ✨

We have recently completed the full refurbishment of a hall, stairs, and landing area — including two staircases — resulting in a refreshed, elegant space that will stand the test of time.
The project began with the removal of two layers of existing wallpaper, followed by thorough preparation and sealing of the walls. We then hung 1400 grade lining paper throughout, providing a smooth, durable surface ready for a flawless finish.
The walls were finished in Farrow & Ball ‘Blue Green’, a sophisticated shade that brings depth and character to the space. All woodwork and both staircases were meticulously prepared, made good, and completed with two coats of Farrow & Ball ‘Wimborne White’, creating a crisp, clean contrast. Handrails were finished in a clear satin varnish to showcase the natural wood grain.

Project Highlights:
✅ Stripped, made good, and sealed walls
✅ 1400 grade lining paper hung on all walls
✅ Farrow & Ball ‘Blue Green’ applied to all walls

We took an existing kitchen with off-white doors and gave it a brand-new identity using Farrow & Ball’s Card Room Green — a deep, elegant tone that completely changed the feel of the space.

✨ Details Matter:
• Doors were carefully hand-painted for a premium finish
• All surfaces were meticulously prepped using high-grade sandpaper
• Existing handles were removed prior to painting for clean, even coverage
• We finished the look with brass handles — subtle, classy, and full of character
• Walls will be completed in Farrow & Ball’s Pale Powder — a soft, calming contrast to the cabinetry
