It has been brought to our attention that a member of Moortown Group’s workforce has been identified as making abusive remarks online. V&A Homes, as a priority, have raised this with Moortown Group and are assured that they are taking the necessary steps to deal with this matter in the appropriate way. They have stressed that they operate a ZERO-TOLERANCE approach to such behaviour.

We do not employ the individual in question, rather he featured on an outdated page on our website from a time whereby he provided consultancy services to V&A Homes, and as such we are unable to take any direct action ourselves. We have however made our objection to the online abuse known to those conducting the investigation.

Now more than ever we are committed to playing our part in supporting the communities we serve. The safety of all is paramount and at the forefront of our values. As such we would never tolerate a member of our team or work with a consultant or contractor who would undermine that in any way.
