🎾 GAME, SET & MATCH! 🐑
I think I may have finally aced the bathroom decor (in one of the two full bathrooms in Culew Cottage)… although I’ll let you be the line judge on that one. 😉
I managed to serve up two vintage tennis racket mirrors, then stumbled across a rather wonderful “School Use Only” Lawn Tennis Association racket. Obviously, leaving it as it was simply wasn’t an option. That would have been a terrible unforced error.
So I decided to give it a new string to its bow and hand embroidered a little sheep scene into it, inspired by the view from the bathroom window. 🐑🌿
It took rather more patience than a five-set final, but I’m net-urally rather pleased with the result. The sheep
behaved themselves, nobody called FAULT!, and miraculously I didn’t end up embroidering myself to the racket.
Now the whole little collection is in place and I think they make quite the perfect match. The old tennis ball tin makes a fabulous vase too! ⚱️
The mirrors are ready for guests to check they’re looking smashing, the embroidered racket has found its court, and the bathroom decor is officially love-all. 🎾
You could say I’ve become a bit racquet-obsessed… but I’m refusing to return that accusation.
Anyway, I’ll stop now before these puns go completely out of bounds.
Game. Set. Match.
And possibly… baa-dminton next? 😆🐑🎾
