UPDATE - Window Restoration 🪟 ✨ 🏡

A little update on one of our recent restoration projects in Farnhill

We previously shared the restoration work carried out on this beautiful original timber and stained-glass window.

We carefully stripped back the failed coatings and putty, carrying out localised timber repairs, renewing the glazing putty and sealing the frame, and preparing the window ready for its final finish.

Now the decorator has worked his magic, and the transformation is complete.

The original coloured glass has really come back to life, and the crisp final finish has brought this lovely period feature back to its best.

Final decoration by Chris Barrett – Fred Barrett Decorators, Skipton. A great finish and the perfect final touch to the restoration.

We always think original features like this are worth preserving where possible, rather than replacing them unnecessarily.

Original Timber Window Restoration 🪟
📍 Farnhill, near Skipton

A lovely original arched timber window brought back to a sound, well-prepared condition.

Extensive preparation, paint and putty removal, localised timber repair and replacement, glazing putty repairs, sealing and priming carried out by the Incanto Homes team.

Now primed and ready for the final decoration by Chris, of Fred Barrett Decorators based in the Craven area

Scaffolding provided by Elder and Sons of Cross Roads

Another original feature restored rather than replaced. 🔨 ✨ 🏡

A lovely bit of second fix on this project in Hetton in the Yorkshire Dales 🐑

Doors, ironmongery, architraves done and skirtings down on the wood effect tiled floor, stone scribes, cupboards, bathroom panelling and a set of steps built over the existing concrete ✨ 🏡

Always a pleasure being down at River View in Haworth, a lovely tray of treats, and another amazing view!

Antique pine shelf fitted, Wren fitted wardrobes and some fencing adjustments/repairs
