Nutclough Housing Co-operative is looking for a new resident, preferably with experience of communal living, who is willing to get involved with the day-to-day running of the co-op.

There will be a limited amount of wine on offer upon arrival. After that our bar will be serving beer, wine & soft drinks on a donation basis. You are welcome to BYOB. As always donations are always welcomed but never essential. The suggested entry donation is £3 🙂

🎨 We are hosting our 2nd exhibition at the end of the month so get in touch V sooooooon if you would like to be involved! Please send submissions to [email protected] & include photographs of your work and a short description (Max 200 words). The pieces will be on display for ONE NIGHT ONLY and there will be an opportunity to sell your prints & originals from the bar.

🖌The submission deadline is Feb 19th. We will host a week-long viewing again in the future but this time the work will be available to view for one evening only in the Nutclough studio. The bar will be serving Beer & Wine on a donation basis.

👩‍🎨All submissions are welcome, especially work with a theme or connection to the area, whether this is the content or the artist themselves. We aim to celebrate the DIY culture that can make creativity so rich & personal. As always there are no artists fees!

🧑‍🎨All are welcome to a ‘Collage’n’Chill session at Nutclough Pub Room on 17.02.23. This is a drop-in session / is free to all, however, if you plan to attend, please drop us a message or email to confirm. Donations are welcome but never essential. There will be an endless supply of tea, and beer will be available on a donation basis but you are welcome to BYOB. Although materials will be provided, you are welcome to bring your own if you wish. We have a selection of scissors but if you have a pair you can bring that would be really helpful.

Bring your underloved clothes, swap 'em around and walk away with a full wardrobe update. Who needs January sales? All shapes, sizes and genders welcomed. Dressing up in clothes you wouldn't normally try on is positively encouraged!

Some drinks will be available at the bar by donation and our resident Chris will provide all the musical delights you need in the form of 80's bangers!

The things you need to know:

☻ £3 suggested donation (but no one will be turned away cos of lack of funds, as always)
☻ Only bring clothes that still have life left in them and someone else will love and slay! (No sweaty armpit white t's or tammy girl tops from 2004 pls)
☻ Drop off your clothes before the event in a bag with your name on (so you can get your tokens) at the Nutclough Tavern or make sure you're there for 7pm please so the swapping can commence promptly!
☻If you can't make bang on start time (7pm), still pop down and join in but swaps work best for everyone if you and your clothes are there from the beginning.
☻For every item of swappable clothing you bring you'll get a token to cash-in for another beautiful item (up to 10). After everyone's had some time to swap, anything left will be available for donation, so still swing by if you don't have anything to bring.
☻ You're welcome to take any clothes home with you or leave them with us - we'll either keep them for a future swap or donate them to the Community Kindness shop

Hi All,

We hope you are well and easing into the new year nicely ✨

We have a room coming available from the beginning of Feb. The ideal person would have experience living in communities/ communal spaces and have the willingness to get involved with the day-to-day running of the co-op.

If you are interested please email [email protected] where we will send you a set of questions to answer. If we think you would be a good fit for the space we usually arrange to meet up for a cuppa and a chat.
