If you fancy a winter break when the oranges are out in full force 🍂 it really is, I think anyway, the best time to see Helmsdale, the North Coast of Scotland, and Sutherland.

Not the best pictures - but as I 'calmly' shouted at my husband to stop the car, I managed to catch a fleeting glimpse of a White Tailed Eagle being chased by an Osprey on our way up the A897 towards Melvich 🦅
We were looking for stags 🦌, but always worth keeping your eyes on the sky 👀
Lots of wildlife to see in the surrounding areas, and sometimes from the doorstep 🦞
