Last week, our staff and clients went head-to-head for a fantastic football match. There was a great atmosphere, with plenty of friendly competition and brilliant sportsmanship from both teams ⚽

The DENS football initiative began as an informal kickabout with just a couple of clients and has grown into a thriving programme that promotes physical activity, social connection and positive engagement. In the last year, we’ve had 38 clients take part in training sessions 🙌

Well done to everyone who took part – we’re already looking forward to the next one! 💛

Kyle started his DENS journey doing voluntary work experience at the Kitchen Café in The Forum, Hemel Hempstead. With support from his Employment Coach, Clare, he went on to secure employment as a Project Worker with Sunnyside Rural Trust. 🌱

He has now been named Star Employee of the Year at the Step2Skills Adult Achievement Awards! 🏆
