Job today was to carry out a boiler service, service the unvented cylinder.
Which turned up a few delights. Return visit is required as the vessel is as you can see standing on its own on the pipework, the tundish is also running this is caused by a cold water being unbalanced and being back fed through the hot pipework as the tundish ran for the whole time I was there despite the cold feed lever valve being switched off to the cylinder.
I shall get a quote together for the customer to fit a pressure reducing valve to the incoming main of the property.

Today was a busy day flushing the system, as there was virtually no flow going through the hot water cylinder. I learned a new method for flushing a system and am always open to discovering better ways to do things. If you want to gain real insight into power flushing, I recommend speaking to .ltd, who is very helpful and informative.

Today I had to change a builder own built under floor heating manifold from a hot water system mixing valve, pump and oh that's it.
Running 2 circuits of underfloor.
Fitted the manifold and got it all working as the old system never worked from the day it was installed. The flow to the floor never got warm let alone hot enough to do anything.
