Are you a small developer who is looking for someone to help them during the construction phase?
I am a commercial construction professional, with twenty-five years experience, more than twelve of which are in property development and house building. I work with Architects, Construction Planners and Project Managers to ascertain scopes of work and pricing documents for contractors to price and any further design updates during the tender period, and analyse contractors' tender returns, interview contractors with the project team, undertake negotiations, and recommend a contractor to the client. Then, upon award, i prepare the contract documents, including the minutes of pre-award meeting with the project team and the contractor, and an agreed stage payment schedule or percentage / milestone schedule, issue the contract documents and administer the contract during the construction phase (including payments) until completion of the works.
I have undertaken this type of role for many years for larger developers, and looking to branch out into consultancy work for smaller developers. So if you are in the midst of this type of journey, then give me a shout.
