Today was my Boy’s Sports day.
I loved being able to watch him participate with his friends.
I was talking to another parent while we were waiting for the kids to take their place and they were saying how some had, had difficulty being able to get the time off to watch.
This got me thinking….
There must be so many people out there without a plan B…
• If your kids are sick, have appointments or school commitments where you need to be present what do you do about lost money?
• if you yourself are ill and god forbid you need to have recovery time, will your wage keep paying you so you don’t have to cut recovery short because the sick pay doesn’t cut it?
• if you need time off to grieve a loved one, could you do so without feeling like you need to rush back before you’re ready.
• Dare i say it COVID 🙈 not able to go to work, being fur-lowed wondering how your going ti earn when you can’t go out to work.
Soo many people would need to rush back or be worrying about the lost money, this was me once too.
