Delighted that Marches Homes exchanged on this site in Leintwardine in Herefordshire last week.

The site is just under an acre and sits within the settlement boundary in one of Herefordshires most sought after villages.

Following on from a positive pre app we will be submitting planning shortly on the site.

A big thank you to John Amos and for being so patient following on the complex legal issues on the site but we got there in the end.

Herefordshire has entered an initial consultation period that runs from 17th January to 28th February 22 as it begins the process of updating the current Core Strategy to 2041.

Happy New Year from Marches Homes

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who helped us last year. For us and the whole world it was certainly an unusual year (or two!) however thanks to the fantastic network of people we were fortunate to have, have got to know, and worked with over the last 12 months, we have been incredibly lucky to continue to establish ourselves as one of leading residential developers in Herefordshire and the surrounding counties.

Last year saw Marches Homes secure 5 new residential developments sites with a mix of conversions, new build housing and flatted sites currently in planning as well as longer-term strategic sites.

As we look forward to 2022, we are looking to continue this rapid rate of growth and are aiming to secure a further 4 residential development sites over the next 12 months. However, in order to do this we need your help! We welcome conversations with you if you can help bring sites forward or help with introductions that lead to sites being successfully secured.

Marches Homes wish to have conversations with:

•Agents, land brokers and sourcing agents who can introduce new potential sites into our pipeline.
•Architects and Planning Consultants who might have clients looking for a sale or require a delivery/funding partner where Marches Homes can provide our experience or equity injections.
•Landowners looking for a trustworthy and professional development partner to fully optimise the value of their site using our planning expertise.
•Other developers who may have sites that either don’t meet their requirements or don’t fit into their current pipeline and looking to offload them.

Marches Homes are actively seeking new opportunities which meet the following criteria:

•Land and buildings WITHOUT planning across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire.
•Sites that can deliver 20 residential units
•Purchase Price between £500k-£2m
•All types of land and buildings considered
•Min 0.5 + acres

We are delighted to announce Marches Homes have been appointed as the preferred promoter by the landowners to take this 5-acre site in Hanley Swan in Worcestershire through the later stages of the emerging South Worcester Development Plan (SWDP) with a view to eventually (hopefully) getting the site allocated for residential development. Marches Homes will be promoting the site with the help of RCA Regeneration Limited as our chosen planning consultants.

Calling All Contractors

It’s been a busy start to the year for Marches Homes with 3 new development sites currently in legals for 4, 10 and 20 new homes in Herefordshire and terms issued on 2 further sites. As soon as we have exchanged, I will be at liberty to share further details.

In the meantime, we are looking to reach out to main contractors in Herefordshire and the surrounding counties who can facilitate the delivery of these and future schemes.

We welcome conversations with contractors who have experience and a proven track of delivering schemes of this size and nature who are looking to take on new projects in 9-12 months whilst we run the planning.
