For our adventurous guests, there’s plenty to discover in the local area. From wild swimming and canoeing to trekking, cycling and horse-riding, the great outdoors is yours to explore. And just three miles away, Hay-on-Wye — the ‘Town of Books’ — offers independent bookshops, winding streets and plenty of character.

Back at the retreat, meadows and woodland provide a peaceful habitat for local wildlife, with badgers, foxes and an abundance of birds making this corner of the valley their home. 🦊🌲
