Clipped yew sentries, standing to watchful attention. These yews were transplanted from our woods many years ago, and clipped every year to keep them tall and proud.

Picking Daughter LH (Social Media Skivvy) a red cabbage. ā€œItā€™s been eaten by bugs rather a lot, but there might be a couple of leaves in the middleā€. Will there, or wonā€™t there be something edible insideā€¦ it is quite a holey bug-ridden specimen šŸ˜³

The veg garden has been giving of beans and courgettes though, which are delicious šŸ’š

So dry everywhere šŸ˜¢ And those awful fires in Ebbw Vale šŸ˜¢
