Exciting times ahead for OJP Contracts! 🚜🏗️

We've officially started work on a brand-new agricultural shed project, taking it from initial site clearance right through to final completion.

The first stage is now underway, with the site successfully cleared despite some challenging conditions. Our team pushed through both the recent heatwave and the rain to keep things moving and ensure the project got off to a strong start.

We're looking forward to sharing the journey as this site transforms over the coming weeks. Stay tuned for progress updates as we bring this project to life from the ground up.

Installation of four security covers with integrated safety grids was carried out along the River Wey in Guildford to enhance public safety and asset protection in this waterside environment. The works involved the careful placement and secure fixing of each cover to ensure durability, load-bearing capability, and resistance to tampering or environmental wear.

The installation was completed with minimal disruption to the surrounding area, maintaining safe pedestrian access throughout. The finished system provides a reliable and compliant solution that improves safety for both the public and maintenance personnel working near the riverbank.

Another successful job completed at Marsh Hill Farm, Aylesbury 🚧

We carried out the full removal of damaged existing concrete, installed new wastewater drainage, connected into the existing system, and finished with a fresh concrete pour leaving a solid, long-lasting surface ready for use.

From groundwork to final finish, all handled by the team at OJP Contracts.

Ladymead WTW

Upgrades completed at Ladymead Water Treatment Works 💧

Old concrete duct covers removed and replaced with new steel covers, finished with C400-rated concrete to support heavy traffic loads.

Delivering critical infrastructure upgrades at Addenbrooke’s Hospital 🏥⚡

Our team successfully constructed a new HV substation within a live hospital environment, carefully balancing complex engineering with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

Works included transforming an existing courtyard through full soft and hard landscaping removal, installation of trench foundations and a reinforced concrete slab, followed by cavity brick and blockwork walls and a reinforced concrete roof. The facility was completed with fire-rated doors, louvres, dampers, and external hard landscaping.

Inside the live hospital, we carried out a full strip-out and refurbishment, including removal of an existing lift, installation of new suspended ceilings, fire stopping, fire-rated doors, and full redecoration.

A technically demanding project delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

From installing access covers and duct covers, to erecting GRP kiosks, fitting security doors, and working on live construction sites – our installation team delivers precision-engineered solutions across the UK. ✔ Installing access covers and manhole covers to exact tolerances
✔ Erecting and fixing GRP kiosks on prepared bases
✔ Installing and aligning security doors, including sealing and hardware
✔ Reading drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
✔ Working safely with hand and power tools
✔ Ensuring all works meet health & safety and quality standards
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in civil, structural, or mechanical installation (preferred)
• CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong site safety awareness
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites
