Project Update 🚧

A recent site transformation completed by our team, involving the demolition of an existing brick wall and the installation of new security fencing.

The works have improved the site perimeter, providing a more secure and robust boundary while giving the area a complete refresh.

Another successful project completed at a water treatment site with the installation of two new access covers in a pump room, one at ground level and another providing access 15 metres below ground.

These upgrades improve operator safety while making future pump maintenance and replacement quicker and more efficient.

Progress is taking shape at Old Manor Farm. 🚜🏗️

Over the past few weeks we've completed the excavation and concreting of the column pad foundations, paving the way for the steel frame installation, which is now standing proudly on site.

There's still plenty to come, with roof netting, roofing and wall cladding, concrete panels, the concrete floor, ducting and downpipes all still to be completed. Every stage brings us one step closer to delivering another high-quality agricultural building.

It's a long road ahead, but seeing the transformation so far has been incredibly rewarding. We're proud to be delivering this project and look forward to sharing more updates as it progresses.

📍 Full-Time | OJP Contracts | Hertford

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Groundworker to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role working on a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects, where you'll be part of a team delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Your day-to-day duties will include:
✅ Excavation and drainage works
✅ Kerbing, edging and paving
✅ Concrete works and foundations
✅ Installing ducting and utilities
✅ Operating small plant and tools
✅ Working from drawings and site instructions
✅ Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
✅ Assisting with all aspects of groundworks as required

What we're looking for:
✔️ Full UK driving licence (essential)
✔️ Previous groundworks or civil engineering experience
✔️ CSCS Card (essential)
✔️ CPCS/NPORS plant tickets are an advantage
✔️ Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
✔️ Reliable, hardworking and committed to high standards

🚜 WE'RE HIRING – YARD PERSON 🚜

📍 Full-Time | OJP Contracts | Hertford

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard Person to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be trusted to work independently and keep our yard running smoothly.

Your day-to-day duties will include:
✅ Unloading deliveries
✅ Transporting materials between the yard and our sites
✅ Cleaning plant, machinery and company vehicles
✅ Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance
✅ Keeping the yard organised and tidy
✅ Taking and recording meter readings around the yard
✅ Forklift driving
✅ Reporting any defects or issues

What we're looking for:
✔️ Full UK driving licence (essential)
✔️ Previous experience in a similar role or construction environment
✔️ Able to work on your own initiative
✔️ Good communication and reporting skills
✔️ Reliable, organised and practical
✔️ Forklift experience is an advantage
