🐾 UPDATE - Stanley's family have been in touch. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach them.

PLEASE SHARE – HELP US GET STANLEY HOME

One of our team found this lovely boy, Stanley, wandering on Norland Avenue, Anlaby Common.

Thankfully, Stanley is microchipped. Medivet Swanland 24 Hour have scanned his chip and have tried to contact his family, but we’re conscious that they may already be out searching for him and may not have received the vet’s messages yet.

Stanley is currently safe and happy with us at our estate office, where he’s receiving plenty of care, attention and fuss from our team. ❤️

For privacy reasons, the vet understandably cannot share his family’s address or contact details with us, so we’re hoping the power of social media can help get the message to them.

Please share this post, particularly if you’re in Anlaby Common, Anlaby or the surrounding area, so we can get Stanley safely back home to his family.

What struck us most – as it does every year – was just how generous the vehicle owners are with their time.

Visitors of every age got the chance to sit on a motorbike, peer inside a camper van, or settle into the driver’s seat of something they may only have seen in photos.

That was all because a display vehicle owner was happy to share their passion. That openness, that willingness to chat and swap stories, is really what gives the day its atmosphere.

From the Hesslewood veggie patch to your plate.

When we started growing veg here at Hesslewood Office Park , we couldn't wait to see where the harvest would end up.

The team at Grubb have been putting our produce to delicious use, and when we dropped in this week we very excited to see how popular their Ratatouille Chutney is.

It's not the first time our patch has made it onto the menu, either. Grubb at Hesslewood have used our tomatoes and courgettes in their quiches, our rhubarb and brambles in seasonal bakes, and even our potatoes in their potato salad, to name a few.

When the clouds rolled in looking nothing like the summer everyone had grown used to, the nerves crept in.

We needn’t have worried. The rain eased. The gates opened. The people came. And they came in greater numbers than we’ve ever seen.
