I’ve decided to do a bit of celebrating and of my favourites little huts Heather & Bracken, the original Hesleyside Hideaways.

Before the treehouse, way before the tower, we created beautiful Heather & Bracken, small but perfectly formed.

I’d like everyone to experience a little bit of Hesleyside, to wake to birdsong, soak beneath open skies and spend evenings around the fire under some of the darkest skies in Europe.

This place means a lot to us — not just the huts, but the land around them, the trees, the wildlife, and the feeling you get when everything slows down. This land has been in our family for over 800 years, and that history is something we feel every day — it’s a privilege to look after it, and a responsibility we don’t take lightly.

It’s why we care so much about keeping things simple, low-impact, and as gentle on the environment as we can.

Some of our favourite moments here are the quiet ones — early mornings with the birds, evenings by the fire, and those clear Northumberland skies that make you feel very small (in the best way).

If you’re here today, we hope you take a little extra time to notice it all. And if you’ve stayed with us before, thank you for being part of something that values this place as much as we do.
