🔧 Our team has been hard at work carrying out a light refurbishment of this 11,000 sq ft warehouse at Meltham Mills, ready for its new tenant.

Works included upgraded warehouse lighting, refurbished offices, kitchen and toilets, new flooring and decorating throughout. 💡

Meltham Mills Reservoir – Safety Notice

We have received a number of reports of people swimming in Meltham Mills Reservoir and climbing onto the restricted valve tower/pier to jump into the water.

We appreciate the warm weather makes open water tempting, but the reservoir is not a safe place to swim.

The water is cold, deep and can present serious hidden risks. There are also underwater pipes, valves and aeration equipment within the reservoir, which can create significant hazards for anyone entering the water.

The valve tower and pier are restricted access areas. The access is locked for a reason - it is not designed for public use, climbing or jumping, and is only to be accessed by trained and authorised people managing the reservoir.

We work hard to keep the area looking as natural and open as possible, and we do not want to spoil the landscape with additional fencing, signage or security measures. However, if the reservoir continues to be misused, we may have no option but to consider further deterrents.

Please do not swim in the reservoir or climb on the valve tower/pier. Help us keep everyone safe and protect the area for the wider community.
